Adaptive Bicycles

Fall is here, and this weather is great for a bike ride. Riding bikes can be tricky when you have cerebral palsy. Sometimes you need to modify your bike to accommodate your needs, and other times you need a special bike all together.

For people with cerebral palsy, there are many configurations which will depend on your mobility level. Some will need a hand cycle, while others may need an adaptive tricycle. There are also those may only require slight modifications to a standard bicycle.

Whatever the case, riding a bike is something almost everyone with CP can do. All you have to do is find the type of bike that works best.
